Terms of Service

Draft version · last updated 18 October 2026

These draft terms describe how Cognoloom (“we”) would provide a marketplace connecting organisations (“Companies”) with independent domain experts (“Experts”) for AI training, data labeling, RLHF and evaluation work.

1. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • Experts must be legally able to work as independent contractors where they live.

2. Vetting

Experts complete an automated screening interview. Scores are an aid to decision-making and may be reviewed by humans. We may limit retakes and remove accounts that attempt to manipulate vetting.

3. Projects, contracts and hours

Companies post projects; hiring creates a contract with an agreed hourly rate and weekly cap. Experts log hours, which Companies approve or reject in good faith. [Payment timing, disputes, chargebacks and platform fees — TO BE DEFINED WITH COUNSEL.]

4. Confidentiality & IP

[Placeholder: ownership of work product, NDAs, handling of Company confidential data and model outputs.]

5. Acceptable use

No unlawful content, harassment, sharing of personal data without a lawful basis, or attempts to circumvent the platform.

6. Liability

[Placeholder: limitation of liability, indemnities, warranties — requires legal drafting.]

7. Governing law

[To be determined.]
